The Company was founded in 1995, by Martin Ciolkosz, who saw an opportunity in the Electrical Sector, for the manufacture of control, metering & protection panels.

The company has since expanded its client base and supplies clients throughout South Africa in various sectors. In July 2015, Wirconn cc, was taken under new ownership, by Ivan Pather.
